Mellon's Higher Learning program area funds research and curricular projects that engage teams of humanities scholars and students and have lasting impact at an institution. The program's now-annual Open Call for Concepts is one of the most accessible entry points into Mellon funding.
UT staff from OVPR, Humanities Institute, and Foundation Relations will present information and strategic advice for the opportunities within this grantmaking area. A panel of UT scholars who have been supported by the Mellon Foundation and served as reviewers will present their experiences on what makes for successful projects.
OVPR's Investigator Skill-Building events are designed and reserved for campus faculty and research staff with PI status only. Non-PI staff and students, while ineligible to register, are welcome to view materials in OVPR's resource library.
